Sara Beth and I have known each other since the 5th grade! She and I have both recently decided to give our love of photography a front seat in our lives, so I was honored when she asked me to take her family’s picture earlier this year. This time of year in Colorado it’s really a gamble when it comes to whether or not the weather is going to cooperate with a shoot. Thankfully, more often than not, the sun comes out and makes even a chilly day bearable. After warming up the camera in their family room, the Brown family and I braved a chilly, but sunny, January morning in the suburban forest.
